Very soothing sound of seasonal creeks along the trail at the start. The abundant Manzanita bushes were thick and tall, and covered in tiny clusters of tiny pink blossoms. I was really surprised to see so many hikers with dogs (both the hikers and their dogs very well behaved 😉 ). It was fun to see how well the dogs handled and relished going over the boulders at the summit.
