Incredible hike with stellar views all along the route. I did the loop clockwise, as many people have suggested, and after completing I'd definitely agree clock-wise is the preferred direction to get the most out of the experience. There was snow and ice at the summit which was really cool to see. The first couple miles are a bit brutal to climb and the trail gets difficult with a narrowing path and large loose rocks along the climb… be careful. Overall incredible experience!
