Okay, so I have always looked the whole Toole County and only seen desert and dirt.

I was really missing out. This hike was beautiful!

The trail was well trafficked and pretty easy to navigate.  We did the loop which put us at a little over 8 miles.

We encountered a gentleman and his adult son who told us that they turned back when they got to the cliffs🥺.
We never encountered anything we considered to be cliffs.

I am so glad that I did this hike, there was tons of water and tons flowers on the trail.
