This trail just kept going up and up.
The directions on how to get to the trail head are not accurate from this website so it was a bit hard to find. But once you start, you never think you will get to the end. There is a lot of climbing in a short distance. Just when you think you are done, you see yet another mountain to go up. You only know when you are done when you hit the sign that says “end”.
The views the entire way are wonderful. Once you get to the top, it is incredible looking every direction.
Our Strava logged 4.7 miles with a 2,188 elevation gain. It took us 3hr 17 minutes but it felt longer. It gets the quads burning.
Do it early in the day. It gets very hot. Since most of the hike is on rock, you really feel the heat.
