This trail for us was moderate difficulty, 7 miles to the crest with about 4,000 ft of elevation change to the summit 12,600. The wind was incredibly strong especially at the top, so I kinda understand how people can get blown off a mountain! Was a great way to spend my 58th birthday today! ONE MORE PEAK TO HIKE TO COMPLETE THE CHALLENGE!

Ooops made a typo: Sandia Crest is 10,600 not 12,600!
