After submitting Wilson on Sat I decided to make it a double summit weekend by doing San Jacinto on Monday (Memorial Day). My friend Kim and her son Kevin joined me and we had a great time! We opted for the easier approach utilizing the aerial tram which was so much fun! Then off we went to the summit. The weather was perfect and since we were on the second tram of the day we beat the crowds. Jacinto is my favorite local peak and it did not disappoint. Amazing views in all directions. It was Kim and Kevin’s first time to the top and they loved it! On our way down we met some PCT hikers who were fun to talk to. Great way to spend the holiday!
