It was a July day but there was a storm on the horizon. As we neared the summit we contemplated turning around. We had been watching the weather on our GPS app and saw that the storm was veering off in the other direction. We continued on and we’re able to successfully reach the peak. The South Fork approach is my absolute favorite route to the top of the mountain.
