I embarked on my trek bright and early at around 6 AM, the crisp morning air invigorating my senses. Parking was a breeze; I found a spot easily along the street. The weather was perfect—a harmonious balance of warmth and coolness, with the sun just beginning to rise, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink.
As I started the ascent, the trail wound its way upward, surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of chirping birds. I didn’t encounter any fellow hikers until I reached the summit, which made the solitude of the journey feel even more special. The hike was challenging; the steep elevation points gave my legs a good workout and made the trek feel longer than I anticipated.
Upon reaching the top, I was rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views. I roamed around the observatory, taking in the scenery, and stepped into the charming mini museum nearby. It was fascinating to see a photograph of Albert Einstein standing at the very spot where I was now, adding a touch of historical significance to my adventure.
On my descent, I finally met other hikers, their excited chatter breaking the serene silence of the trail. I also encountered a few deer gracefully making their way through the landscape, their presence adding a delightful touch to my journey. As I made my way back, the sun began to dip lower in the sky, casting a warm golden glow that guided me home, and I felt accomplished to arrive before sunset.
