Started at 7:40am the parking was filling up and it was a brisk 34 degrees. We had beautiful weather, only chilly to start once the sun exposes the trail it warms up quickly.
A few muddy spots but not bad. The ground still held moisture so it helped the steep descent after the peak. Mostly a sandy trail with some rocks.
Overall great trail to start the challenge.
