The trail was in solid condition. We chose this one for spring to avoid summer temperatures. It was still hot, but manageable.
Cool water from potable spigot at the top was refreshing and clean to refill our bottles with and enjoy the view.
This was our first hike together, a group of women from Alameda who decided a monthly hike together would be an amazing way to enjoy being outside, moving, and spending time together. What a great way to start with beautiful Mt. Diablo.
