What a beautiful hike. We made it to the trailhead around 730 and it was already full. We managed to find parking on the road just fine.
We stopped to fill out our permits and some friendly hikers doing Ontario peak helped us out. I didnt realize that we would be on the same trail pretty much up until that Saddle where a bunch of trail merge and split. It made we want to venture out to another peak once we got to the saddle! After the saddle is where things got really tough and where I definitely started to feel the altitude. Once we got to the peak we enjoyed some misty views. I am grateful to the people that leave signage for us to take pictures with 😉
I noticed campers up there as well and would love to come back to to spend the night.

I recommend camping on Cucamonga. The city lights are stunning!
Thanks for the comment, Joan! I look forward to planning an overnight stay maybe next summer 🙂
