First mile, 16 minutes, second mile 33 minutes, it's an elevation challenge in the first few miles, but it does let up. Gorgeous views at the top- never alone, even tho I started the hike alone as there were lots of jeeps and Mt bikers. Picked the Perfect day to do this hike, weather was sunny and warm. Contrary to what I read before going into this hike, there is lots of shade. I've read several places that it's mostly all sun exposed trailing but not so, there is shade and lots of it. I enjoyed the hike, it's definitely a glute quad and calf burner and well worth the drive.
