This one was a late start but it meant that I would find parking in the parking lot. The hike was uneventful other than friendly encounters with other hikers. It was windy closer to the top and it was windy at the summit. The weather though was sunny. Encountered a snake on the way down but fortunately it just lay on the trail and was not in a defensive position. Waited for a few minutes before the snake finally slithered uphill into some bushes off the trail. I didn't notice any rattles on the tail as it slithered away. Daylight ended before I got to my car but fortunately I was just a little over a mile away from my car. All in all a good hike.
