So this was my first hike in this area. My previous hikes have been smaller hikes in the Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear area. I stumbled upon the Six-Pack of Peaks after hiking Half Dome and Clouds Rest in Yosemite. I got back home to San Bernardino and felt an urge to continue scaling mountains. I start looking up local hikes on Alltrails and boom that was last Monday.
We started the hike at about 1pm so intially we were burning up! Once we got to the back side of the mountain and the breeze set in it was really nice. Got to the saddle and met some really nice people that asked us about ground beef tacos, it was a good laugh, nice to meet yall! Got to the top about 430pm, hung out for a while, and raced the sun to the bottom. We won by a good margin lol. Overall beautiful hike. Good challenge and ready for the next!
