Started across the street from the candy store and about 1/2 mile in I mentioned to my boyfriend that I feel like we are on the wrong trailhead. Oops that’s what happens when you get excited and just go. Quickly make it back and crossed the street to start on the right trailhead which reads “Bear Canyon trailhead” which takes you to Sitton peak. Enjoyable hike, shaded areas, plenty of foliage, easy hike with the push at the end with lots of elevation gain to the summit. Beautiful views up there.
