Awesome day! Started early and we got lucky with weather and bugs. Left the peak just as clouds were rolling in and thunder expected. Met a man who’d hiked it twice and made it to the saddle (2 mi before) had to turn around due to thunderstorms. Leave early to get to the peak early. Great trail. It’s long but that helps with the grade overall so not too rough overall. First and last Mile definitely the hardest. Lots of water and flowers.
