This is a nice 5 mile climb. The start is a single track that is pretty technical in places, a few trees down. After .9 mi you connect to a dirt gravelly fire road. Along the way you will encounter beginner rock climbers scaling what looked to me as huge dangerous rocks but to them they were baby climbs. The ascent is not particularly steep until the last part but that is short. The views at the top are wonderful. On a clear day looking South you can see the SF Skyline, Bay Bridge and Mt. Diablo. Look East and you see what I think is Lake Berryessa. It is a fairly easy hike, on this day there were young children going up the trail.
