Bugs were not too bad

Snow free

We started in the late afternoon and it was HOT. There was some water at the start of the trail but no water anywhere else, make sure you bring plenty.

The trail was moderately trafficked but did have some overgrowth. There is a section of the trail that has had water damage making it a deep V, this was awkward to navigate.

Due to our late start we saw a beautiful moonrise and traveled back to the trailhead by head lamp.

There were signs of coyotes but we did not encounter any wildlife on the trail.
