6AM trailhead (3rd car!), 7:30AM met up with a very cool guy in his early sixties! He has been hiking this mountain since his late teens…he shared a wealth of knowledge about mountain and trails and etc…we had a great lunch together at the top junction and then we shook hands and departed ways. I summited the peak and discovered it infested with bees…I am highly allergic…visited the hut…and then descended to Round Valley for the night. Several Boy Scouts camping there. Met up with my family at the tram station for lunch. My son really liked the tram ride…car shuttled back to the trailhead then home…long day!
