Wonderful day, cool temps, nice breeze but not too windy. Read that it can get crowded but I didn’t think it was that bad. We only hiked one way, the hard way. We drove 2 cars to the top, then drove one back down to Mitchell canyon and started from there. I kind of wanted to hike back down but I was also grateful for the car at the top. We started our hike at 10 and finished at 4 pm so we would have been cutting it close getting back to Mitchell canyon trailhead before dark had we decided to hike back. Beautiful wildflowers, views and a wonderful feeling of accomplishment making it to the top.
