Slow and steady hike up the Marion Trail to San Jacinto Peak. This trail was lightly trafficked and in good condition. It was a beautiful, warm day. I didn't make it up to the peak in time to witness it, but a couple were married at the peak. I hear that there were a lot of people and the champagne was flowing. By the time I got to the peak, the festivities were done. The original trail sign is missing, but someone made a replacement sign that is adequate.
