Mission accomplished! 
We kicked off our Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge with Mission Peak (elev. 2,517 ft) and crushed it with a 7:30 AM trailhead start! The trail was a little muddy, temps were in the 50s, and the summit winds made sure we earned that peak photoโbut we made it! 
This marks 1 of 8 peaks weโre tackling this year as part of the Social Hikers Six-Pack of Peaks Challengeโone down, seven to go! 
And of course, no summit is complete without a legendary post-hike omelet. 
Because climbing mountains is hard work, but so is deciding between bacon or avocado.
