On a whim, got up today and hiked Mission Peak. I’ve never hiked it in the spring. It was beautiful. The weather was perfect for this hike, mid 50’s. It was a very clear day with Bay Area views
I hiked clockwise. The hike up was predictable. Steep, constant and brutal at times. Not many people at the peak. I continued clockwise down enjoying the gullies and ravines in the way. 3 streams were running and a lot of budding trees and bushes. And a lot of cows. The trails were dried out from the rains so no mushy paths.
