Beautiful hike and a fantastic trail. The weather was mostly cloudy and misty giving the forest a very soft and gentle feel. Perfect hiking temperature.We saw lots of animals including newts and deer despite the busy trail. The sun broke through the clouds briefly at the summit but quickly retreated behind the clouds leaving the peak chilly. We didn’t stick around to enjoy something warm from the Cosmic Cafe but instead beat it downhill quick to warm up again.
