fresh cold day. Didn’t even hike with a jacket. Long sleeve Columbia silver ridge shirt. I was walking up 3-4 mph. I went beast mode. Only saw 5 people on the trail. Three Koreans at the top. Super cool dudes. I had my Carla jr breakfast steak egg and cheese burrito at the top. The peak is above the clouds. So awesome. First time up. I had a good hike. Ran most of the way down. Love my Hoka hiking boots. Perfect for this hike. Snakes are coming out. I got one on video blocking the trail just before the parking lot. It was about two feet long. Didn’t see or hear a rattle at the end of the snake. This makes my 4th badge for the socal sixpack.
