This was a great training hike for the final two “Six Pack of Peaks”, Diamond Peak and South Sisters. We started at the West Village parking area at the base of the chair lifts. The first couple of miles travels through shaded forest, it gets rockier with loose scree and steeper as you climb higher. We were excited to locate the geodetic survey marker, but it was a little beat up and vandalized. Beautiful views at the summit!
