Got to the trailhead at 6:45am. The weather was nice, a little hazy, but the view was still clear to see. The trail was well maintained. Not crowded. There were times I had the trail to myself.
The trail is not technically hard. What makes it hard is the altitude and the switchbacks. I had no AMS. I walked slowly and steady and took break often to make sure I inhaled enough oxygen and had energy to continue to go up. When I got up to the top, the view was breathtaking. It was definitely worth all my sweat, deep breath and sore legs.
