This trail was an ass kicker going up but it took us about 5-6 hours to do the entire hike and we sat at the peak for about an hour. It was easier than the other trails I’ve done but still challenging. What was nice was I met a little dog on the trail who has hiked the mountain several times and hiked more than most people I knew. She inspired me to keep going as I struggled with the incline. There was a really old tree on the trail. I heard it was about 1500 years old (don’t know if that’s accurate for sure) but it looked ancient. It’s bark is weathered but you find it almost at the top. Nice 360 views from the top. Very wind at the summit. My post thanksgiving hike!
