The first mile was the hardest. It took me a bit of time to acclimate to the higher elevation. I ran into a couple of PCT hikers and had a brief chat during a rest at one of the sections. I was definitely inspired by them attempting the PCT trek and was fortunate enough to hear some of their other experiences with different trails.
