My son and I tackled this 10/23/22 – very challenging hike but wow, what a wonderful day and trail. The marine layer was thick and beautiful – wind and temperature required jackets towards the top – maybe about a mile from the top to down below, just before Devil's Backbone (we went up via Ski Hut, down the Backbone). Other than that it was great hiking weather.
