This was a tough hike. Started the day at 4:30AM with a group of 4 of us. We went up to the Notch, then over on the Devil's Backbone. At about 9,300′, altitude effects started to hit. The last 700′ to the top was a crazy mess of switchback and 40mph winds. We summited around 9:30AM and stayed for about an hour. The way down on the Ski Hut trail was horrible – that is a rough trail on the knees, and I pity everyone I saw climbing up it. Overall, this was my favorite peak so far!
