I started summiting Mount Baldy in Spring/Summer of 2017. I would hike up with a group and camp halfway – then summit up Baldy Bowl at sunrise.
I did this twice before I started running up the fire road/Baldy Road to Ski Lifts and summiting with my run team.
I ran to the summit a handful of times in 2019.
I ran Mt. Baldy Run To The Top September 2nd, 2019 in just under two hours from trailhead to summit.
July 4th, 2022 was the last time I ran: I went up the Baldy Road way, summited and ran down the Baldy Bowl way. I added an extra 1.5 miles to go back and get a runner – Total time out and back: 3hr, 42min. 4,206 elevation gain, 12.25 miles.
