This was a steep one!! Ooo wee!! Such a beautiful day. The weather was really nice (up until the top) when it got extremely cold & windy! To the Ski Hut was a fun hike and then from that point on, it was tough! In all honesty, the summit was a bit anticlimactic. Felt really proud though to hike up nearly 4,000’ in 4 miles! The infamous Devil’s Backbone lived up to its name. Going down from the peak was really steep and rocky. I almost slipped a few times. We kept thinking we got to the gnarly part, but with each turn it got even more steep on each side! Took some balls to hike this trail! (Hence the name ☺️) All in all, I really loved this hike! I’d definitely do it again!! ⛰
