Using Greylock as a training hike for Franconia Ridge. It was a good workout. Our weather was cloudy and overcast. We took the spur to Robinson's Point which had nice views. It was rocky and downhill to get to the view and you had to cross a road, of course then you had to hike back up to get back on trail. Towards the top there was a shelter and could see old ski trails. At the summit is a war memorial that you could go in. Many people at the summit since there is a road and people can drive to it, too many people in my opinion. The view from the top was nice but I prefer to see mountains and wilderness, you could see towns down below. We hiked about 8 miles and the elevation by my app was about 2700.
