Although advertised on Forest Service signage as 4.8 miles to the summit, follow Jeff’’s report, it’s really 5.25, 10.5 round trip.
The majority of the trail has tree roots or large rocks to navigate so don’t expect to easily run up & down the trail. Take your time. There are occasional views of Snowbowl Ski area before you reach the “pass”. Once you reach the pass there are fantastic 360 views of Northern Arizona.
The summit was congested and there were lots of annoying bugs so take your photo quickly!
