Overall, conditions were good. We started at 7:30am and had no trouble finding a parking space. Weather was in the 40s and comfortable, especially for the ascent. We removed layers as we warmed up. There were a few small patches of ice on the switch backs and some muddy areas. Views were gorgeous, especially the inversion in the valley, which provided a unique perspective. Trails were not crowded and we easily found a spot for our brunch at the summit. This is definitely one of our favorite hikes!
