Snowfields to cross – could be difficult

Fellow challenger, Chris Drelinger, and I decided to climb Mt Monadnock yesterday despite the wind and cold. While the White Dot/White Cross trail isn’t terribly long (about 4 miles), the snow and ice covering the trails (with melting snow flowing underneath the ice) made the hike a bit more challenging than we are used to! But it was beautiful and we perservered. ?
