Hiked this solo on July 3, 2020 but ended up meeting other hikers on the trail.
Parking lot was almost full by 8:00 a.m. on a weekday.
The first 2 miles and the last 2 miles were a doozy. Small patches of snow toward the summit. Many parts of the trail are exposed so if I had the chance to do this trail again, I would probably start before dawn. I had 4 liters of water and it was just enough.
This hike would probably be a lot more enjoyable if broken into 2 days by camping on the mountain  – it was a beautiful hike, just a long & rather strenuous one.
