Fun Fact #1: The signs at the trail-head (5.25 and 5.3 to peak) are not accurate!

Fun Fact #2:  There are two survey monuments at Mount San Jacinto.  Guess that makes up for zero at Cucamonga Peak.

Our round trip distance was 13.8 total miles.   We recorded 6.9 miles to the top with an elevation gain of 4913 from the lower or first parking lot.

Beautiful day, unfortunately it was hazy looking into Moreno valley (turned out there was a brush fire on Highway 60) but the Coachella valley was very clear.  I was hoping to see the Salton Sea but it was hidden behind some hills.
