Okay I was feeling guilty about getting to use to smaller peaks for this challenge – so I thought this last hike, I would complete one the hardest ways. 20 miles later – all could think was “what was I thinking”. Still have not overcome the breathing at the higher altitudes so this harder than I thought it should be. Had been worried about the heat – thankfully the peak is like an oasis in the middle of the desert. Was very glad the hike was over.
