I started the trailhead a bit late in the morning around 10:30AM. It was a sunny day with almost no clouds. For the first 4 miles, hike was effortless as it was mostly either downhill or flat. After that there was an intense steep climb for 1-2 miles. I had almost given up on the steep climb but I just gave my best and climbed. After climbing to mount sizer, next 6-8 miles trail was very scenic and mostly flat or with low inclination. The last few miles were again climb but not as steep as it was around miles 4-6. At the end I finished the hike after pushing too much. My legs were sore for the next 3 days. It was a memorable hike afterall.
