This hike went much smoother than the Mission Peak hike from the week prior. There were a few steep hills to climb, but overall it was a smooth hike.
Walking along the trail was like walking through a magical forest. It was beautiful, and around each corner of the trail was a new and different view.
Aside from a squirrel here and there we didn't see any animals.
The weather was nice and cool when we first started. On the way back down, it heated up when we hit little patches of sun.
The trail is on the smaller side, and I was ok with that because it meant less overcrowding.
This is the perfect hike to really enjoy nature and your surroundings.
The abandoned building at the top serves as the perfect landmark because you can spot it at various points on the trail.
