Oh wow, where do I being?  First, I wasn't planning on doing Mount Washington for another month, but I know the weather there can be tricky, so when I saw it was going to be 60 degrees and sunny there and 90 everywhere else, I opted for Washington.  I tok the recommended route which starts on the Tuckerman Ravine trail and then branches off onto the Lions Head and then meets up with Tuckerman again to get to the summit.

I am a solo hiker, but I was certainly not alone on this ike.  So many people were out there, but not so many that it was crowded on the trail.  I think if I had done Tuckermans to lions Head, I might not have finished.  When I made my descent down the ravine after a rest at the summit, I looked up and thought “holy mother forking shirtballs”, I just came down that???

This was a tough climb and I was on the struggle bus for the last 2 miles, but I took it slow so I could make it back to my car safely.  Like an idiot, I drove back home to CT after the hike.  I would not recommend this.  If you live more than a few hours away, get a hotel, and rest.  Your body will deserve it after this hike!
