Up the last peak for the challenge! – Tuckermans notch trail is a steep ski trail so breaking off to take lions head was a must for me in both directions- I enjoyed the climb quite a bit. This is a pretty rocky climb -I think the summit trail once you break the tree line is one of the most ungroomed trails I've seen in the alpine zone. With day light short on this crisp fall day, I didn't have much time to explore the summit before eating a quick lunch and jumping back down into my very careful and slow solo descent. All and all it was a beautiful day to climb a mountain – lots of time to reflect on my final solo hike of the six pack challenge – Can't wait for next year!
