The hike was long but beautiful. The trail itself was very colorful and picturesque. Weather was very cold as we began our incline around 8am but got warm very quickly as we ascended higher and higher. Hike became steeper and steeper with a good amount of switchbacks toward the summit. Trail was soft but had many rocks in the path so one should be careful. The view at the top was of the entirety of LA and surrounding areas. I felt like I was on top of the world! Body is so sore already and just finished climbing a few hours ago.
