Terrible. We read about the bugs but thought, how bad can a few mosquitoes be? The bugs were so bad we literally ran most of the trail trying to escape the bugs to no success. I have no idea if the scenery was great because I had my head down and my eyes closed the entire time otherwise I would have had eyeballs full of mosquitoes. Eventually when we got to the other side where it was more open, the bugs started to disappear but god was it bad. I DEFINITELY recommend bringing one of those bug net hats to anyone looking to do this hike.
