We started on the trail head around 8:30 am. The weather was perfect. Cloudy, cool and misty. Not many other hikers on the trail, was no problem finding parking.

Got to see 2 small waterfalls. I didn’t really stop to enjoy the scenery because I was lagging behind. I would walk a few steps and need a break. I am definitely glad it is over and ecstatic that I accomplished my goal. But more than once I wanted to quit and turn back around.

The trail is very well kept. Only encountered 2 fallen trees that we had to go over. The signs are clear and the people are friendly.
