I did this hike with my brother after 4-5 straight days of rain. There were some small landslides, but only one that covered the trail in a spot that made us nervous. It was a bit before we got to the first water. After that the trail was fine.
The mid elevations were all in the clouds / fog that made for a great cool ascent. Once we broke through we had awesome views of surrounding peaks, but the city was obscured.
Definitely kicked our butts, but we had a great time.
