I started the hike at 6:00 am sharp alongside 2 groups of people I met at the trail head both of which turned back one group due to the distance and the other because of the rain. I’m very happy with myself on completing this hike even though seeing the other groups leave was very discouraging and made me consider turning back I was able to push through. On my way up I saw a group of hikers taking a rest I was glad to see I wasn’t the only one going up to the summit the further up I got I ran into a few trail runners. Over all it was a very nice hike loved how green and full of water this place is. The trail was had some rocks/boulders in the way due to rock slides and a few trees that had fallen on the trail. The elevation gain was intense but totally worth! Only down side was that I had about 3 hours of heavy rainfall and some wind at around 8:00am-11:00am
