Went up Chantry flats up to the top. The switchbacks were definitely my low point but you suddenly pop up at the top. We spent a little time at the top of the mountain to eat and look at the observatory. I was… not expecting this to be so civilized.

The hike down was GORGEOUS. Your surroundings will literally change from one moment to the next. At some points you're trecking through forested areas but suddenly you feel like you're in a desert canyon. It's so cool.

The last bit of the hike is just a cemented hill going to the parking lot. It was awful. There is nothing good about climbing uphill at the end of a super long hike.
